How to use this sheet

Write each player's name at the top of a column. A hand ends when one player plays the last card from their stockpile. That player wins the hand and is the only one who scores.

The winner scores 25 points, plus 5 points for every card still in the other players' stockpiles. Count those cards, work out the total and write it in the winner's column; leave the others empty.

Keep playing hands until someone reaches 500 points. Online, the sheet adds every hand and shows the winner as soon as someone passes 500. For a shorter game, just play one hand and skip the scoring.

Skip-Bo questions

How do you score Skip-Bo? The player who empties their stockpile first wins the hand and scores 25 points, plus 5 points for each card left in their opponents' stockpiles. The other players score nothing that hand.

How many points do you need to win Skip-Bo? 500. Players keep playing hands until someone's total reaches 500. Many families play a single hand instead, and the first to empty their stockpile wins.

How many cards are in each stockpile? 30 cards each for two to four players, and 20 cards each for five or six players.

What do Skip-Bo cards do? Skip-Bo cards are wild. They can be played as any number on a building pile.

What happens when a building pile reaches 12? The completed pile is set aside and shuffled back into the draw pile when it runs out, and a new building pile can be started with a 1 or a Skip-Bo card.

How many people can play Skip-Bo? Two to six players, or six in teams of two. The printable sheet and the online scorekeeper both have room for six.
