How to use this sheet

Write each player's name at the top of a column. The game has 11 rounds: round one deals 3 cards and 3s are wild, round two deals 4 cards and 4s are wild, and so on up to 13 cards with Kings wild. Each row is labelled with its wild card, so nobody loses track.

When a player goes out, everyone else gets one more turn to lay down what they can. Then each player adds up the cards still in their hand: face value for 3 to 10, 11 for a Jack, 12 for a Queen, 13 for a King, 20 for the round's wild card and 50 for a Joker. The player who went out writes 0.

After the Kings wild round, the lowest total wins. On a phone, tap a box to write a round's points; the sheet keeps the totals and circles whoever is lowest.

Five Crowns questions

How do you score Five Crowns? At the end of each round, players add up the cards left in their hand: face value for 3 to 10, 11 for a Jack, 12 for a Queen, 13 for a King, 20 for each of that round's wild cards and 50 for each Joker. Going out scores 0. Low scores are good.

How many rounds are in Five Crowns? Eleven. The first round deals 3 cards each and the last deals 13, one more card every round.

What is wild in each round of Five Crowns? The card matching the number of cards dealt: 3s in the first round, 4s in the second, up to Jacks with 11 cards, Queens with 12 and Kings with 13. The six Jokers are wild in every round.

Who wins Five Crowns? The player with the lowest total after all 11 rounds.

What happens after someone goes out? Every other player gets one final turn, then the round ends and everyone counts the cards they could not lay down.

How many people can play Five Crowns? One to seven players, though it is best with two or more. The printable sheet has six columns and the online scorekeeper takes up to seven.
